Spotlight on Hotaling Insurance Services

For more than a decade now, Kids for Kids has had the dedicated support of Hotaling Insurance Services (HIS) in all areas of our fundraising. Bobby Hotaling, President & CEO of Hotaling Insurance Services, was introduced to Kids for Kids through Board Member & Founder, Brian Kaminskey. Through their relationship developed a strong partnership in philanthropy – together Hotaling Insurance Services and Kids for Kids strengthened their passion for helping others, especially the children and families of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

When asked what it is about Kids for Kids that keeps Hotaling Insurance Services continued support, HIS shared how they appreciate the opportunity to see the impact that their donations have on the children and their families we support. In 2017, Bobby Hotaling and his wife joined Kids for Kids on our annual visit to the St. Jude Campus in Memphis, TN. After touring the hospital and meeting the families his donations are supporting, Hotaling’s involvement in our mission continued to grow in many ways.

Hotaling Insurance Services has been recognized as a top donor of Kids for Kids, Presenting Sponsor of our annual Race for a Cure since 2019, and now supporting all initiatives as a Benefactor. Our Race for a Cure event is the favorite fundraiser of Hotaling and Hotaling Insurance Services. Seeing their company logo on a Ferrari Challenge Race Car as it zooms around the course with a team of employees and clients in attendance to take part in this unique racing experience is a great perk of the event. But being part of raising over $200,000 for St. Jude during this adrenaline-packed event is the best experience of all.

And the Hotaling Insurance Services team does more than just donate! In April 2021, Hotaling Insurance Services went above and beyond to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital with their own company-wide fundraiser. Throughout the entire month, the company hosted their “Hotaling Hustles for St. Jude” campaign in which their five offices, three in New York – New York City, Hauppauge, Poughkeepsie, one in Florida – Miami, and one in Texas – Houston, went head-to-head raising funds and getting active for a great cause! Collectively Hotaling Insurance Services raised $140,000 with the New York City Office as top fundraisers bringing in $51,225. The team at the Houston Office crushed the fitness competition collectively completing 322 days of exercise throughout the month. This initiative brought such positive attention and support to Kids for Kids that an inter-company version of this competition is now in the works!
